Digimon Card Game Promos

These first 6 promos came inside a “Promotional Pack 0.0.” All 6 cards were included in each pack. These packs were given out in various ways including sweepstakes, tournament prizes, and more. They are definitely easier to get than they sound as Bandai used them to promote and get people interested in the new Digimon Card Game.

Bandai also made these same 6 promos with more of a rainbow finish rather than a chrome finish.

These next 6 cards came in the “Special Box Promotion Pack.” Each booster box would come with 1 of these packs inside. Each pack would contain 2 cards which were corresponding pairs. So in a single pack you could get Agumon and Greymon, Garurumon and WereGarurumon, or Veedramon Zero and Tai Kamiya(V-Tamer). Side Note: The Tai Kamiya(V-Tamer) received an updated version in 1.5 “Special Box Promotion Packs.”

These next 3 were supposed to be given out at Tamer parties. In other words, stores were to hold events and people would receive these cards for learning how to play the game or for teaching others how to play the game.

This next batch of promos came in packs of one (called “Official Tournament Pack VOL. 1”). Packs were supposed to be given out to each participant of a tournaments from February to April.

These next 4 came in packs of one (called “Tamer Battle Pack 1”). These packs were supposed to be given out to the winners of tournaments.

These 16 cards came in the Tamer’s Evolution Box

These next 4 came out came out of the “Special Release Memorial Pack” These were supposed to be given away for buying 12 packs of 1.0 and 4 packs of 1.5 or 12 packs of 1.5 and 4 packs of 1.0. With Covid going on and limited packs booster packs available, these were in actuality given out in a variety of ways depending on the store.

The next promo came from the first premium pack. Basically Bandai packaged a couple of 1.0 and 1.5 packs together and gave out 2 of these promos in each premium pack.

These next 3 were supposed to be given out at the 2 Tamer party. These card could be received by participating in a demonstration or game at gaming stores.

This next batch of promos came in packs of one (called “Official Tournament Pack VOL. 2”). Packs were supposed to be given out to each participant of a tournaments from June through July of 2021.

These next 3 cards came in something called a “Great Dash Pack.” There was 1 Card in each pack. A person was supposed to get one pack for every purchase of 12 BT4 (Great Legend) packs or 2 starter decks (from ST4-6).

The following card was given out to participants of Booster 4 (Great Legend) prerelease tournaments.

This next card was given out to winners of Booster 4 (Great Legend) prerelease tournaments.

The next 12 cards came from Great Legend Power Up Packs. 2 cards were in each pack. One was supposed to get one pack with every Booster Box 4 (Great Legend) purchase.

These next three were given away for all major tournaments prizes in June. The Koromon was given away for participating. The Greymon was given away to those in the top 32 of each tournament. The Wargreymon was given away to those in the top 8 of each tournament.

The following card was given out to participants of Booster 5 (Battle of Omni) prerelease tournaments.
