This starter deck was released in February of 2000, despite the 1999 copyright date found on the cards (-Scrye CCG Checklist and Price Guide second edition). It contained 62 cards, including 3 holos.
Bandai partnered with Upper Deck to release the Digi-Battle card game (They would eventually part ways and Bandai would release some later products on their own). This is the only Starter to come in both 1st Edition and non-first edition versions.
