Digi-Battle Booster Series 1

First released in 2000 (despite the 1999 copyright date found on the cards), series 1 was the only booster series with both first edition and unlimited versions of cards.

This 54 card set came packaged in 3 different pack wrappers. The first edition one was blue. The unlimited packs were green or blue. The easiest way to tell the blue first edition pack apart from the blue unlimited pack was by the Digimon featured on the front of the wrappers. For example note that the first edition blue pack has Metalgreymon on the pack wrapper, while the unlimited blue pack has Aeroveedramon on the front (the other card pictures featured on those two packs are different as well.)

Special thanks to digibattleman for the pictures.

Gold stamp cards were 1:7 packs. Holographic cards were 1:3 packs There were also secret holo cards randomly inserted into the blue and green unlimited packs (more on these later on this page). Please remember more information on specific cards can be found on the Digi-Battle checklist found on the Digi-Battle home page.

There was also a European pack (with cards in English) in which certain cards had slight printing differences (see the Fakes and Oddities page for more info). In the European version of the pack, both holos and gold stamps were 1:16 packs.

Here are the cards found in series 1:

As stated earlier, the two unlimited packs contained randomly inserted secret holos. These were holo versions of cards released in the first starter deck. An “S” would be added to the end of the card number and each card would receive a 10 point boost to their best attack as compared to their non-holo starter deck counterparts. 12 of these secret holos could be found in series 1 (6 in the unlimited blue packs and 6 in the unlimited green packs).

According to Pojo.com found through Wayback Machine, here are the 6 from the unlimited blue packs:
